The Petzl Pantin Foot Ascender - Right is designed to improve efficiency during rope ascent by reducing effort and increasing climbing speed. Worn on the right foot, it works alongside rope clamps such as the CROLL, ASCENSION, or ASCENTREE to support smooth and controlled upward movement.

The design helps facilitate rope glide, particularly during the initial stages of ascent. A toothed stainless steel cam with a self-cleaning slot ensures reliable performance, even on dirty or frozen ropes. The mechanism is fully integrated into the body to minimise snagging, while the device can be released easily with a simple backward movement of the foot. Adjustment is quick and secure using the DoubleBack buckle.

Constructed from aluminium, stainless steel, and Dyneema, the Pantin offers durability and resistance to abrasion. It is compatible with ropes from 8 mm to 13 mm and is built for consistent use in demanding environments. This foot ascender is designed to complement rope systems but is not intended for use as personal protective equipment.
