The Stein OMEX-12 Spiderleg Sling 12mm - 5m is designed to provide balanced support when rigging and dismantling branches. Its spiderleg configuration allows branches to be cradled securely, giving greater control during lowering operations and helping to improve stability throughout the rigging process.

Manufactured from STEIN OMEX-12 12-strand single braid rope, the sling delivers high strength, low stretch, and excellent abrasion resistance. The two-end-per-carrier construction creates a larger internal void, making the rope easier to splice, while the protective coating reduces snagging and enhances long-term durability. The sling can be attached to a rigging line using a Klemheist or Prusik knot, with a recommended diameter 2 mm smaller than the rigging rope to ensure reliable grip.

Multiple Spiderleg Slings can be fitted to a rigging line when additional attachment points are required, providing increased control over larger or more complex loads. The sling should always be inspected before use and must not be shock loaded. It is intended for use by trained and competent operators following the manufacturer's guidance.
